These are some personnal pages describing the JAWA 350/638 -1990 model. Here I write my impressions about this bike and take a look at the advantages / disadvantages of owning one, in a humorous way. Side-car bikes are a rare bread and JAWA it's at least an original factory affordable one. I also love MZ bikes manufactured originally in Eastern Germany and intent to develop some pages with information about it soon. I''ve spend a lot of time rebuilding this one (I have presently the silver one and also owned the black model).

This model is basically the same since the 80's apart some minor changes considering electrical system and other improvements along the years. JAWA is made in Republic of Czechoslovakia and they didn't use to have all the comforts of the rich European countries. So this is a basic motorbike, easy to mantain, and that is the most beautiful thing about it. The design and solutions of this bikes always have fascinated me. What a pleasure to ride a honest, cheap and not fancy marketed thing. No fashions here. You love it or you hate it.
